Laura grew up as “the kid with the camera” but originally had no aspirations of becoming a photographer. While at the University of MD, Baltimore County, she studied photography under Theresa Airey, and found a passion for the art. However, Laura had three children right out of college, leaving her unable to pursue photography professionally for several years. Still, she spent much time behind the camera. When she returned to work in 1991, she worked for several studios, including a private photographer, a youth sports photography company, and managed a Wal Mart Portrait Studio.

Laura’s Eyes Photography opened its doors in 1995, and didn’t really blossom until the family moved to Pasadena, MD in 1998. The bulk of her work consists of weddings and family portraiture. Laura has a love for and experience with special needs people as well, as her daughter has Down Syndrome. She will come to you and set up a studio in your home, or meet you at the park for some natural portraits. Now, ten years later, Laura is well respected in northern Anne Arundel County for her wedding and event photography as well as all types of portraiture. She has been the photographer for the Pasadena Business Association for 5 years and is referred by more than 20 businesses in the area, including Kurtz’s Beach and La Fontaine Bleu.

Her goal is to make each client feel completely content with their experience as well as giving them pictures that they will love.
